Comic Collector Pro helps you manage and organize your comic book library, by creating your own personal database. Catalog your comic books in a database with a minimum of typing. Adding comics to the database is quick and easy, the "Add Multiple Comics" feature lets you add entire series of comic books in one single action. Use the integrated TWAIN support to scan cover images directly into the program. Adding comics to the database is quick and easy.
Easily sort your collection
The application enables you to sort the items in your inventory alphabetically, by publisher or by their release date. Besides that, you can also use filters to find specific issues or series within your collection.
The sort and filter operations are performed instantly, since all the queried data is stored in your database and is easily accessible on your hard disk.
Print custom lists of your comics
Comic Collector Pro can be used to create lists containing comics of your choosing and print them using the wide array of available XML templates. These lists are useful for insurance purposes, or to display them in your store.
The data can also be exported and used in other applications, via the built-in exporter that creates XLS/XML files from your lists and filters.
Integrated loan management system
Keep tabs on your loaned comic books using the included loan management system that allows you to log when and who borrowed items from your collection.
The system automatically notifies you if one of the persons is overdue on their loan, but can also give a warning if you forget to return a comic to the store, or to your friends.
Comic book series extend over hundreds of issues and it would take long amounts of time to manually organize them. Collectorz.com Comic Collector does the job in seconds and you do not have to fear someone might accidentally misplace them.
Whats New :
Export to XML is now a lot more memory efficient, writing the xml directly to hard disk (can be more slow though)
Creators and Character grid column widths not restored properly sometimes
Contents tab: when trying to move a story up or down it would throw an "Abstract Error"
Sync with Cloud: Wrap Around and TPB fields were cleared when syncing down from the cloud
Add/Modify Filter: "Contains" filters were always case insensitive even when "case sensitive" was checked
Edit Multiple Comics:
cancelling without making changes would still ask for confirmation
F8 didn't clear price values
